Contract work or permanent, which would you take? - 9 months and counting

I got a contract offer for 18 months as a copywriter and I am unsure whether to accept. I am in Omaha, in case local advice matters. I would gain recent experience. What would you do?

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
