Contract work or permanent, which would you take? - 6 weeks in

A permanent role may come up, but the contract starts now. I have 3 months of savings left. Did a contract become permanent?

I took a contract and it converted after four months. The time also kept my skills current.

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
