Contract work or permanent, which would you take? - 5 months and counting

A permanent role may come up, but the contract starts now. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I would gain recent experience. How did you handle benefits?

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.

Buy coverage through the marketplace if the contract has none. I budgeted for it before signing.
