Contract work or permanent, which would you take?

I got a contract offer for 7 months as a hotel front-desk agent and I am unsure whether to accept. I have 11 months of savings left. Did a contract become permanent?

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.

I took a contract and it converted after four months. The time also kept my skills current.
