Contract work or permanent, which would you take? - 24 weeks in

A permanent role may come up, but the contract starts now. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I have 13 months of savings left. What would you do?

Buy coverage through the marketplace if the contract has none. I budgeted for it before signing.

Ask about extension likelihood and whether the team has hired contractors before.
