Contract work or permanent, which would you take? - 21 weeks in

A permanent role may come up, but the contract starts now. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I have 13 months of savings left. What would you do?

I took a contract and it converted after four months. The time also kept my skills current.
