Contract work or permanent, which would you take? - 2 months and counting

I got a contract offer for 13 months as an accounts payable clerk and I am unsure whether to accept. I am in Madison, in case local advice matters. The contract could extend. Did a contract become permanent?

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
