Contract work or permanent, which would you take? - 15 weeks in

The pay is fair but there are no benefits. I am in Madison, in case local advice matters. I have 6 months of savings left. Did a contract become permanent?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 6 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

If savings are low, I would accept and keep applying. You can leave for a permanent role if one appears.
