Contract work or permanent, which would you take? - 13 months and counting

I got a contract offer for 10 months as a delivery driver and I am unsure whether to accept. I have 13 months of savings left. Did a contract become permanent?

Buy coverage through the marketplace if the contract has none. I budgeted for it before signing.
