Contract work or permanent, which would you take? - 10 months and counting

I got a contract offer for 6 months as a bank teller and I am unsure whether to accept. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I would gain recent experience. Did a contract become permanent?

Buy coverage through the marketplace if the contract has none. I budgeted for it before signing.
