Changing careers at 9 years into a job, is it realistic?

I want to move from customer-service rep to something with more stability. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I have good customer skills and I am comfortable with spreadsheets. How did you start?

You likely have more transferable skills than you think. Write down what you did, not what the job title said.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
