Changing careers at 8 years into a job, is it realistic? - first time posting

After 8 years as a recruiter I am thinking about moving into a different field. This is my first time dealing with any of this. My family is supportive but nervous.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
