Changing careers at 6 years into a job, is it realistic? after 6 years as an accounts payable clerk

I want to move from accounts payable clerk to something with more stability. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. My family is supportive but nervous.

You likely have more transferable skills than you think. Write down what you did, not what the job title said.
