Changing careers at 4 years into a job, is it realistic? - 10 months and counting

After 4 years as a payroll clerk I am thinking about moving into a different field. I worked as a payroll clerk before this. I have a little time and a small budget for training.

I took a small pay cut for a year, and it was worth it for the growth afterwards.
