Changing careers at 18 years into a job, is it realistic?, logistics coordinator here

After 18 years as a logistics coordinator I am thinking about moving into a different field. This is my first time dealing with any of this. My family is supportive but nervous. How did you start?

I took a small pay cut for a year, and it was worth it for the growth afterwards.
