Changing careers at 16 years into a job, is it realistic? after 16 years as an office manager

After 16 years as an office manager I am thinking about moving into a different field. This is my first time dealing with any of this. My family is supportive but nervous. Has anyone made a similar move?

I began with informational chats, then a short online course, then a related entry-level role. It took about 7 months.
