Changing careers at 15 years into a job, is it realistic? after 15 years as a call-centre agent

I want to move from call-centre agent to something with more stability. I have been trying to stay organised about it. My family is supportive but nervous. Has anyone made a similar move?

I took a small pay cut for a year, and it was worth it for the growth afterwards.
