Changing careers at 15 years into a job, is it realistic? after 15 years as a medical assistant

My layoff made me rethink whether to stay in my field. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I have good customer skills and I am comfortable with spreadsheets.

I took a small pay cut for a year, and it was worth it for the growth afterwards.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
