Changing careers at 15 years into a job, is it realistic? - 25 weeks in

After 15 years as a machine operator I am thinking about moving into a different field. Any experience at all would help. I have good customer skills and I am comfortable with spreadsheets.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Try a small project in the new field before committing. It told me a lot about whether I would enjoy it.
