Changing careers at 14 years into a job, is it realistic? after 14 years as a copywriter

I want to move from copywriter to something with more stability. There are 14 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I have a little time and a small budget for training. Has anyone made a similar move?

You likely have more transferable skills than you think. Write down what you did, not what the job title said.

Try a small project in the new field before committing. It told me a lot about whether I would enjoy it.
