Changing careers at 13 years into a job, is it realistic?, line cook here

After 13 years as a line cook I am thinking about moving into a different field. It has been weighing on me all week. My family is supportive but nervous.

Try a small project in the new field before committing. It told me a lot about whether I would enjoy it.
