Changing careers at 13 years into a job, is it realistic?, janitorial supervisor here

After 13 years as a janitorial supervisor I am thinking about moving into a different field. I worked as a janitorial supervisor before this. I have a little time and a small budget for training. How did you start?

I took a small pay cut for a year, and it was worth it for the growth afterwards.
