Changing careers at 13 years into a job, is it realistic? after 13 years as a janitorial supervisor

I want to move from janitorial supervisor to something with more stability. I worked as a janitorial supervisor before this. My family is supportive but nervous.

Try a small project in the new field before committing. It told me a lot about whether I would enjoy it.
