Changing careers at 13 years into a job, is it realistic? - 7 months and counting

After 13 years as an accountant I am thinking about moving into a different field. It has been a long 12 weeks. My family is supportive but nervous. Has anyone made a similar move?

You likely have more transferable skills than you think. Write down what you did, not what the job title said.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
