Changing careers at 10 years into a job, is it realistic? - first time posting

My layoff made me rethink whether to stay in my field. It has been a long 17 weeks. I have good customer skills and I am comfortable with spreadsheets. How did you start?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
