Career change after a layoff, where to begin?

Ingrid Andersson · 2026-07-02T04:42:08.710Z

After 13 years as a procurement assistant I am thinking about moving into a different field. I am in Chicago, in case local advice matters. I have good customer skills and I am comfortable with spreadsheets. How did you start?
