Career change after a layoff, where to begin?, administrative assistant here

Diego Abara · 2026-09-06T05:33:12.694Z

After 10 years as an administrative assistant I am thinking about moving into a different field. I have a little time and a small budget for training. Has anyone made a similar move?

I began with informational chats, then a short online course, then a related entry-level role. It took about 13 months.
