Career change after a layoff, where to begin?

Fatima Mercer · 2026-06-19T21:53:22.891Z

I want to move from welding apprentice to something with more stability. It has been weighing on me all week. I have good customer skills and I am comfortable with spreadsheets. Did you take a pay cut?
