Are certifications worth it while job hunting? - what worked for you?

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a project coordinator. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I can study evenings. Is there free funding?

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.
