Are certifications worth it while job hunting? - what worked for you?

I saw that many postings ask for a specific certification. I would like to use funding if possible.

Ask the course provider how many graduates get jobs and where. Honest providers can tell you.

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.
