Are certifications worth it while job hunting? - what worked for you?

A local college offers a course that costs $1050. I worked as a bank teller before this. I would like to use funding if possible. Which ones are overrated?

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 12 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
