Are certifications worth it while job hunting?, social media manager here

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a social media manager. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I can study evenings. Is there free funding?

The workforce centre told me about training funds I qualified for. It covered most of my course.
