Are certifications worth it while job hunting?, security officer here

A local college offers a course that costs $950. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I am unsure whether employers value it. Did a certificate help you get hired?

Ask the course provider how many graduates get jobs and where. Honest providers can tell you.
