Are certifications worth it while job hunting?, procurement assistant here

I saw that many postings ask for a specific certification. I worked as a procurement assistant before this. I would like to use funding if possible. Did a certificate help you get hired?

Ask the course provider how many graduates get jobs and where. Honest providers can tell you.

The workforce centre told me about training funds I qualified for. It covered most of my course.
