Are certifications worth it while job hunting?, IT help-desk technician here

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as an IT help-desk technician. I am unsure whether employers value it. Is there free funding?

Ask the course provider how many graduates get jobs and where. Honest providers can tell you.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
