Are certifications worth it while job hunting?, forklift operator here

I saw that many postings ask for a specific certification. I am in Fresno, in case local advice matters. I can study evenings. Did a certificate help you get hired?

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.
