Are certifications worth it while job hunting? - first time posting

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as an operations analyst. There are 7 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I am unsure whether employers value it. Is there free funding?

The workforce centre told me about training funds I qualified for. It covered most of my course.

Ask the course provider how many graduates get jobs and where. Honest providers can tell you.
