Are certifications worth it while job hunting? - first time posting

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a procurement assistant. I worked as a procurement assistant before this. I would like to use funding if possible. Which ones are overrated?

The workforce centre told me about training funds I qualified for. It covered most of my course.

Ask the course provider how many graduates get jobs and where. Honest providers can tell you.
