Are certifications worth it while job hunting? - first time posting

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a graphic designer. I can study evenings. Which ones are overrated?

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.

Ask the course provider how many graduates get jobs and where. Honest providers can tell you.
