Are certifications worth it while job hunting? (Cleveland)

I saw that many postings ask for a specific certification. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I would like to use funding if possible. Is there free funding?

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.

Ask the course provider how many graduates get jobs and where. Honest providers can tell you.
