Are certifications worth it while job hunting? - any advice?

A local college offers a course that costs $100. I can study evenings. Did a certificate help you get hired?

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.
