Are certifications worth it while job hunting? after 9 years as a copywriter

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a copywriter. There are 9 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I am unsure whether employers value it. Is there free funding?

Ask the course provider how many graduates get jobs and where. Honest providers can tell you.
