Are certifications worth it while job hunting? after 5 years as a delivery driver

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a delivery driver. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I can study evenings. Did a certificate help you get hired?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
