Are certifications worth it while job hunting? after 18 years as a warehouse supervisor

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a warehouse supervisor. There are 18 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I am unsure whether employers value it. Which ones are overrated?

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.
