Are certifications worth it while job hunting? after 18 years as a logistics coordinator

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a logistics coordinator. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I am unsure whether employers value it. Is there free funding?

Ask the course provider how many graduates get jobs and where. Honest providers can tell you.

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
