Are certifications worth it while job hunting? after 18 years as a graphic designer

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a graphic designer. It has been a long 2 weeks. I would like to use funding if possible. Did a certificate help you get hired?

Ask the course provider how many graduates get jobs and where. Honest providers can tell you.
