Are certifications worth it while job hunting? after 17 years as an HR coordinator

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as an HR coordinator. I can study evenings.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 2 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.
