Are certifications worth it while job hunting? after 14 years as a customer-service rep

A local college offers a course that costs $1200. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I am unsure whether employers value it. Did a certificate help you get hired?

Ask the course provider how many graduates get jobs and where. Honest providers can tell you.
