Are certifications worth it while job hunting? after 13 years as a social media manager

A local college offers a course that costs $100. I worked as a social media manager before this. I would like to use funding if possible. Which ones are overrated?

The workforce centre told me about training funds I qualified for. It covered most of my course.

Check a dozen job postings first. If most ask for the same certificate, it is probably worth it.
