Are certifications worth it while job hunting?

I am considering a short certificate to improve my chances as a customer-service rep. It has been a long 4 weeks. I would like to use funding if possible.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 13 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
